Event Overview

Join us for an exhilarating day of strategic thinking and competitive fun at the "Xiangqi Master: The Ultimate Chess Strategy Challenge 2025" event. This event is designed for chess enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players. Event Schedule

  • Registration: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Opening Ceremony: 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM
  • First Round of Competition: 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Lunch Break: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Second Round of Competition: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
  • Final Rounds and Semifinals: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Awards Ceremony: 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM
  • Closing Remarks: 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Competition Details

The competition will be held in a round-robin format, where each participant will play against multiple opponents. The top players will advance to the semifinals and finals, where they will compete for the title of "Xiangqi Master 2025." Each game will have a time control of 20 minutes per player, with a 5-second increment after each move.

Prizes and Awards

  • 1st Place: $500 cash prize, a trophy, and a year-long subscription to a chess strategy magazine.
  • 2nd Place: $300 cash prize and a commemorative plaque.
  • 3rd Place: $200 cash prize and a chess set.
  • All Participants: A participation certificate and a small gift bag.

Registration and Participation

Registration is open to all chess enthusiasts aged 12 and above. The registration fee is $20 per participant, which includes entry to the competition, lunch, and a gift bag. Participants can register online via our website or in person at the event venue on the day of the event. The registration deadline is June 25, 2025.
